You Guys..

As in "OMG, you guys."
(read with a thick Valley Girl Accent for full effect)
My life is so crazy right now, its not even funny. First on the list, I feel ginormous, being 33 weeks pregnant, I'll spare you the proof.

MIA

Sorry Folks, I've been a little MIA.
Its been kinda crazy over here. It doesnt help that Im VERY pregnant and in the process of buying a house and that it has been disgustingly hot lately (at least to me.) My days have been, full, long and hot. And I cant even go shopping to unwind, well, I could, but at this stage in the game, its really just pointless.
The Cabinet is moving along beautifully and I have a few other crafts on my radar. So, be patient and stay tuned... Oh, a do me a favor, go shopping and buy yourself something super cute, or sit in a hot tub at night time, and revel in it.

Gray Line Shirt: $19.95
There are 2 things I love in life (among many others)

And I love even more when they come together.
Now, part of me was hesitant to post this on my blog, because I want it all for myself.
But, its just too good to not share.
These are just a few of my favs, but theres plenty more out there.

Almost Ombre Pullover: $29.95

Hump Day Inspiration

Some more inspiring interior design ideas and craft projects to start, as if we all dont have enough already.
Im pretty sure I saw this genius teacup clock idea first over at Vintage Revivals by Mandi. I cant wait to make one for my own house, I think its a fabulous idea.

Whats NOT to love about these industrial Lotus Chandeliers? Now, If only I could figure out how to make it myself.

For some reason, I am obsessed with this nursery. Could it be the striped ceiling? Yes. The painted armoire? Yes. The Chandelier? Yes. The painted door, the antlers, the valance over the crib.. the list goes on and on. I just love it.

Now, this, is how you do stripes.
De-lish.

Cabinet Redo: Part 1

So, I got this lovely little gem while garage sale shopping... for FREE. I just couldnt pass up the potential with all that fabulous detail. I was swooning over this, and it was free. Too good to be true. I have the plan to use this as a dresser of sorts for babe no. 2, which is due in 8 weeks, might I add. We're The Hus, is going to paint it pure white and it is going to be amazing. Stay tuned for the results *hopefully* coming very soon.

Boys Shirt Freezer Paper Tutorial

I made two separate images on my Silhouette Machine and cut then put Freezer Paper (found in any grocery store) through my machine to have the images cut out. I made a NY city scape and the Statue of Liberty. I then layered the images so that Lady Liberty was in the background. The trick with Freezer Paper is that if you iron it shiny side down it will adhere your surface without leaving a sticky residue, ideal for stenciling on fabric. You dont need to iron for it longer than like 10sec.

Mom Must Have Products

I thought I would share a few products that I just cant live without and am constantly buying.
Clorox Wipes.
They dont bleach anything, or smell like bleach, but have bleach's disinfecting power. These are something I have on hand in the bathroom. I think its a much needed place for them. being a mom, I feel like I am always needing to disinfect things, especially when I see some "water" spots around the toilet. I also use them on the kitchen floor for a quick wipe up between mopping. You could probably attach one to a Swiffer with some rubber bands for a bigger job. Just a thought.

Kaboom.

DIY Ring Charm Tutorial

For this project I chose to use 20 gauge gold colored jewelry wire. I wrapped which finger I wanted to wear the ring on so I could get the size right. Then I wrapped some wire in place to secure the size.

Hump Day Inspiration

Considering that most of us had Monday off, I figured Thursday was this week's hump day. To help us get over the hump, I thought I would add some of my fav images I have collected throughout the years, you know, before Pinterest. I used to find images I like and copy and save over and over and over into tons of folders. Pinterest is way easier. If you havent tried it yet, you should.

Summer Mantel Ideas

Now that the holidays are over for a little while, I was thinking that I might as well be festive with my mantel and decorate for summer, or at least until I change my mind. I had some shells and coral from our Bahama trip and bought a few more at... the Dollar Tree. That's right, one dollar for a bunch. Fabulous. I really wanted some glass jars though for my display.

Anthro Inspired Vintage Ruffle Lace Sweater

So, this project cost me a total of $2, and unfortunately just as many hours (so far.) I had a plain white hand me down cardigan from a friend and found a bag of vintage lace at the thrift store. The lace was different sizes and colors and I used what I had to make a pattern that matched up on both sides.
