So, I was at Target yesterday looking for some holiday decor items, and I picked up a few, but really wanted to get a wreath. On the cheap side those things are 25 dollars if you dont want something puny. Come on, and they werent even that cute for that price. Not everyone has forty dollars to just throw at a wreath. So, I went home and made one, of course.<br />
<br />
I used two 9ft garlands. You can buy them at Target for four dollars, and an 18 in' wreath frame. I wrapped the wreath around the frame and used wire to attach it to the frame. I used thin jewelry wire, because that is what I had on hand, but you can use floral wire too. Then I just stuck in some fake berries I had and some ribbon to make a bow. SUPER easy! No, hot glue burning yourself or super gluing your fingers together, this one is a no muss, no fuss (?) type of project. For the REALLY not crafty person. What I love best about it too, is nothing is permanent so you can change it next year and its massive!!<br />

My sister just gave it to me, she's 10 yrs younger than me. She's number five out of seven. Who even cares, you ask? Well, its pretty pertinent to my skirt story. I have an older sister, Charity, then me, then Celeste, then a brother James (not important to the story) then Kristy, then a few more kids, but they're not important to the story either. Me, Celeste and Charity are all married, and moved away from home. So, I'm here visitng my parents for the holidays and I was helping Kristy clean her room. "Here, you want this skirt?" She asks. "Yeah, sure, love it." Next thing you know, Charity comes over to visit (she lives down the street) and says, "Hey, my skirt. Awesome!" Me "Um, no, Kristy just gave it to me, sorry." "Yeah, I gave it to Celeste." She responds, "And Celeste gave it to me." Kristy chimes in. "Welp, thank you, then, I guess." And boom. There you have it, a cliche sister story of how I got my skirt. What can I say? I kind of deserve it, since a few years ago, I lost my most favorite ever Abercrombie and Fitch shirt, (ok fine like 10 yrs ago, *cringe* when A&F were popular, I am so old) and saw it on Charity, who had gotten it from Celeste, whom, I didnt give it to, but she somehow ended up with.... hmmmmm. Anyway looks like I had something free and awesome coming my way.Stoked I did. I paired it with my new parisian style Ann Taylor shirt, that I am in love with, the bow is my favorite part, and my black suede Dolce Vita, bootie wedges, that I also love. And since it is winter, in Utah and I am a pasty lady, I slathered on my FAVORITE self tanner ever <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0009V8N4U/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B0009V8N4U&linkCode=as2&tag=howikeesan-20&linkId=OOC3SX66YQF6SYD2">Sun Laboratories Dark Sunsation Self Tanning Lotion - Very Dark 8 fl oz.</a><img alt="" border="0" src="http://ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com/e/ir?t=howikeesan-20&l=as2&o=1&a=B0009V8N4U" height="1" style="border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;" width="1" /><br />
. Seriously though, this stuff is amaze, doesnt ever streak and gives me a nice brown. I have been adverse to self tanners for a LONG time, since I am so white and nothing ever looks that natural, but I swear by this stuff. If you are a fair lady (or maiden.. ha) I for reallllls reccommend this stuff, double for reals. And then I curled my locks with my trusty Remington wand. <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003V265QW/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B003V265QW&linkCode=as2&tag=howikeesan-20&linkId=GXEYBEHLO5OIWUNS">Remington CI95AC/2 Tstudio Salon Collection Pearl Digital Ceramic Curling Wand, 1/2 Inch - 1 Inch</a><img alt="" border="0" src="http://ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com/e/ir?t=howikeesan-20&l=as2&o=1&a=B003V265QW" height="1" style="border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;" width="1" /><br />

Right? Cause that's just what kids do. So this year for Christmas, I have decided on ALL educational gifts. I have scoured, scoured, the internet and here's what's in my shopping cart.<br />

And in my opinion there is not many other places I look first for cool gifts than Amazon. I always say, why not get an Amazon gift card, EVERYTHING is on Amazon. But what got ME to buy Amazon Prime, which is a full year service, was, one day my 5 year old son was playing with our neighbor who was 10. They were playing with the neighbors styrofoam plane collection. Well, the neighbor had to leave to go on a walk with his mom, and my son started begging the boy to let him still play with his planes. Being the super nice kid that he is, he obliged. Saying "be super careful, ok, I love this plane." Not five minutes later did my son and another neighbor girl throw it high into the air and it came crashing down and they broke his favorite plane. Awesome. I thought, "where in the heck am I going to get a freaking styrofoam plane?" The little girls mom, got on her phone and within 2 minutes ordered the exact same plane for $7 with her Amazon Prime account, it was free shipping and came in 2 days. I was SOLD. SOLD I tell ya. I didnt even know at that point there were TV shows and movies available. It would also be great to give as a gift. My Mother in Law has Multiple Sclerosis, and it makes her legs tired sometimes and going shopping to millions of stores for all her family gifts, just sounds like a nightmare to her. All that walking, she just can't, so online shopping is a godsend for her. An Amazon Prime gift for someone like that would be truly appreciated. Long story short, I love Amazon Prime and its free shipping. And you can start today with a free month and order all your Christmas gifts, free of shipping, and then cancel. But honestly, you'll probably want to keep it.<br />
Happy Shopping!<br />

Get on my level.This Fall, slash Winter for me in San Diego, (haters gonna hate) I am super obsessed with all leather, everything. Black leather at that. From the bag, to the jacket, skirt, cape, pants, leggings, shoes, boots, all of it. It is super durable, will keep you warm and add a little bit of classy edginess to your wardrobe. Here are a few looks on my current wish list, from of course, Pinterest. Dont have an account? Get one. Today. And organize your life, and pray that Pinterest never ever goes anywhere.<br />

It's been a while since I've blogged, I know. I have no excuse, wait, yes I do. I have 3 small boys and my life is bananas. Blogging? I don't have time for blogging. Well, now I do. I'm back. At least for now. Currently, I am visiting family in Utah for the holidays. I love Utah in the Fall. The crisp air, the moody skies, the fireplaces and hot cocoa. I don't get that kind of Fall in San Diego. I just get pool days, everyday. So, my sister and I were out playing "America's Next Top Model" in her backyard the other day and here are the results.<br />

Sick view huh? Yeah, thats from her backyard. Ok, so on my public instagram account theblendingbeauty, I'm posting healthy food and green smoothie recipes, tasty ones only though. And fashion, weird combo, I know, but hey, that's what I'm passionate about, and you gotta be true to yourself. Always. This outfit is comprised of a sweater I found at Target, maybe more cardigany, a collared denim shirt that I am obsessed with, from Ann Taylor. It's sprinkled with tiny little white washed hearts. It's pretty adorbs. My skinny jeans, I love, they are Denizen jeans, by Levi, found at Target. At this stage in the game of life, ahem, 30, skinny jeggings from forever 21 just don't cut it for my post pregnant, birthed three babes body anymore. And I love that store, but at some point you need to come to grips with the sad reality, that nobody is forever, 21. So moving on to real people clothes, I love these jeans because the high waist is lovely for those widened hip bones. Just staten facts ladies, don't shoot the messenger. And last but not least, the booties. I was searching everywhere for some black suede fringe bootie wedges, like Emily wore on the Bachelorette, but never found any, under 200 dollars. Psh. yeah right. So, luckily I found this excellent alternative at Nordstrom Rack, these Dolce Vita beauties were 50 bucks and worth every penny. I love these things! Also, my hair was curled with my dope <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003V265QW/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B003V265QW&linkCode=as2&tag=howikeesan-20" target="_blank">Remington</a>, super affordable curling wand that I found on Amazon, that I still LOVE. So, cheers to the holidays and holiday outfits! Please omment if you guys want more posts! </div>

I feel like Valentines Day junked me all up. I mean, heavens, I made a Candy Poster for the hubs. We have had treats galore! I needed a little detox. I wanted a salad, and I love the taste of Ranch, but really, we all know its not that healthy for you and if you buy it from the store it most likely has lots of chemicals and weird stuff in it that you can't pronounce and have no idea what it is. I have been trying really hard lately to make most of my food from scratch, or buy food with food ingredients in it. For example, have you ever made bread? it has like 4 ingredients. Water, flour, oil, yeast. Next time youre at the grocery store, look at the ingredients of your favorite bread, if it has "bread ingredients" yay! If not, reconsider. I'm not perfect at it yet, but I'm trying. <div>For tonight's salad I made up a recipe, based off of the flavors I knew I wanted in my dressing, and boy is it delicious!!!</div><div><br></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-12nZGBDl99c/UwMHk-uRBoI/AAAAAAAAEPg/bsdQY_8ltfw/s640/blogger-image--622182818.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-12nZGBDl99c/UwMHk-uRBoI/AAAAAAAAEPg/bsdQY_8ltfw/s640/blogger-image--622182818.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">1.5 cups roasted unsalted cashews</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">1 large avocado</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">1/2 bunch of cilantro</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">3/4 tsp salt</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">1tsp garlic powder</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">2tsp dill</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">1/4 tsp black pepper</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Juice of 2 limes</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">2 cups water</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Whipped it all up in the blendtec!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-VePRf0jKZ2o/UwMHh8nGgdI/AAAAAAAAEPY/aB6ofZaObfM/s640/blogger-image--2117080337.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-VePRf0jKZ2o/UwMHh8nGgdI/AAAAAAAAEPY/aB6ofZaObfM/s640/blogger-image--2117080337.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I poured it over some romaine, chips, black beans, and tomato. Best of all, i didnt feel guilty licking the bowl, literally. Hubs asked to put this salad into the rotation. Success. Um, btw, this would be pretty perfect if you added grilled chicken to the mix too! This is so tasty, you could put it on burritos, with steak, enchiladas, fish tacos, it would even be amazing as a veggie dip. You get the point. Friends, don't be surprised if you see this on the table when you come over for dinner! So easy, and delicious!! Enjoy!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">xoxo, Janean</div><br></div><br></div><br></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2023270005356539949.post-75707755857714292912014-02-06T14:58:00.001-08:002014-02-06T15:00:15.255-08:00DIY Restoration Hardware DresserSometimes, ok, pretty much ALL the time, I am quite impressed with my husbands handyman skills. A while ago I asked him if he could make the Restoration Hardware Tatum dresser. Here is a picture:<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-CLAQ8oAhgwY/UvQSazor9GI/AAAAAAAAEOI/4kcRVUXiOvM/s640/blogger-image--1397136884.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-CLAQ8oAhgwY/UvQSazor9GI/AAAAAAAAEOI/4kcRVUXiOvM/s640/blogger-image--1397136884.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
And voila!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Ask and ye shall receive (sometimes)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Down to the very details, this guy got it! I'm going to make the boys room kind of industrial so I opted for a dark gray color for the dresser and more manly handles, as opposed to the ring pulls. I am just in LOVE with the way it turned out.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I also asked him to make a mirror. We bought the wood from Home Depot, the stain is Jacobean, I totally recommend it, and love it . And the mirror glass we bought from IKEA for $10... Um , amazing. </div>

Here's to putting your talents to work and saving yourself some money. My talent would in this case, be surrounding myself with extremely talented people. Oh, and btw, this is what motherhood looks like while you're trying to blog.</div>

And I know the trick is to use a curling wand. Not a curling iron. For those of you who don't know, a curling wand is like an iron but without the clamp on it. It's fantastic for getting a perfect curl. But where do I go? What should I buy? There's like 5 billion curling wands out there. So I did a lot of research and asked a few of my professional friends what they like. I ended up buying two.<br />

<br />
<br /></div>
<div>
Sorry for all the instagram selfies, I'm just trying to show the curls! But I LOVE using this wand because it heats up really hot, really fast, so be careful when you use it to not burn yourself. It literally takes like 15 min max to do my hair and my hair is really really long, so if your hair is shorter it would take less.</div>
<div>
So, I really like this wand, but I also wanted one for big loose waves. You know, VS model hair.. I tried a Bedhead one, this one, to be exact.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I'm not going to link to this one, because it is COMPLETE CRAP! Do NOT buy it. It does not get near hot enough and my hair took an hour to do my hair and it looked like garbage! I had to put it in a ponytail. What a waste! I took it back the next day!! And, I am a Bed Head fan! I have a curling iron from them that I love! This was just a disappointment.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I traded that Bed Head one on for this Hot Tools one. </div>

I LOVE it!!! It is phenomenal and I recommend it to everyone that wants that luscious beach wave look! It gets really hot, the curling goes fast and your hair looks amazing! And because it gets so hot the curl stays! My hair never holds curl, but with these two it totally does. Btw, I don't even use any product on my hair, like ever. None. So I'm sure it would hold perfectly for like 2 days if you used hairspray too! This is worth the money folks! I bought mine at Ulta, it was 45 dollars there. This price, on Amazon, is the cheapest I've seen it! So, get it there. Click on the image and it will take you right to it. You won't regret it!</div>

Over Christmas we went to visit my family in Utah. It literally blew my mind how we only needed to drive 10 hrs (well it took us like 800 with 2 small kids and a baby) and we were transported to a winter wonderland. The temperature difference is astounding, and it's really only a day away. If it weren't for us going there and actually seeing the snow, and the iceberg that used to be my parents driveway, I just wouldn't believe it. California may have a lot of crazy things about it, but the dreamy weather, ain't one!<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Utah! So.. If its called a selfie when you take a pic alone.. What would you call two people?? Because whatever it is, we took a ton of those too! Sister time, is trouble. Side note, you can look me up on the insta, janeanslife2. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Well, I was really excited to be there and wear my winter wardrobe, I never get to break out here. I have a Northface jacket, that I really only wear like once a year here. If that. But I was also really excited to get back! Today, we went to the park and the pool... I know, I'm a horrible person for what I'm about to show you...</div>

Is it over? I say, not. I am a new mom to three boys, and I live 10 hrs away from my most trusted hair Dr. (Aka high school bestie turned hair master.) That being said, I never get to see her and my hair is the one who suffers. I know roots are sorta in, but idk, sometimes I just get kinda bored of being blonde. So, I asked for a changed, and we ombred the crap outta my hair. Whatever that means.<div><br></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-VQipa-CCeVA/UtpCCXZEs3I/AAAAAAAAEFk/ap8E_ZFGd58/s640/blogger-image--1547661069.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-VQipa-CCeVA/UtpCCXZEs3I/AAAAAAAAEFk/ap8E_ZFGd58/s640/blogger-image--1547661069.jpg"></a></div><br></div><div><br></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-dL5wYp2MzCA/UtpB8XlxreI/AAAAAAAAEFU/B5ONYFMk4s0/s640/blogger-image-2032447091.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-dL5wYp2MzCA/UtpB8XlxreI/AAAAAAAAEFU/B5ONYFMk4s0/s640/blogger-image-2032447091.jpg"></a></div><br></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-R-4E6CjBGV8/UtpCJGAZatI/AAAAAAAAEFs/4NCatesNjUo/s640/blogger-image-560025015.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-R-4E6CjBGV8/UtpCJGAZatI/AAAAAAAAEFs/4NCatesNjUo/s640/blogger-image-560025015.jpg"></a></div><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Which brings me to my next topic... I'm supposed to be wearing my winter coat and still participating in "no shave November" Right?! Not squeezing my post pregnancy, glowing white body into a swimsuit. Not a whole lot has happened in the last year. Just a lot of weight gain and barfing. Which btw how is that fair at all??! Barf and get fat?? Whatever. I havent been that crafty. <br />
I mostly spent my days at the pool or the beach, trying not to die from insanity or exhaustion. I<i> think</i> it worked, im still not sure.. I did start a blog with some super talented sis in laws. You can read it over <a href="http://kinandtwine.com/" target="_blank">here</a> . But since 3 out of the 4 of us are either pregant or just had a baby, its not really thriving and jiving quite yet. Other than getting ready for the holidays and trying to get a shower in everyday (story of my life!) Not much is new. Well, I just wanted to blog...<br />

Which, I do. So, you may or may not have noticed lately but bleached denim is quite the trend right now. Its a little hipster a little rock n roll and a LOT, mom. Well. this mom anyway. I have been on the hunt for the perfect bleached denim top and I have found quite a few that I like, but then I see the price tag and its like 20 bones, and Im like, Really? Come on, you kinda just spilled some bleach on your grandmas gardening shirt.. Psh. I can do THAT. So, I did. Went to the thrift store, while I was in Utah, because out here, they are priced like target. Um, hello, I am not spending seven dollars on a shirt no one wants, when I can get a brand new one from like H&M. Anyway, I picked up this little gem for $4, and it was peeeerrrrfect. Just what I needed. Here is the before and the after...<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/5e90b50a5bdf9372fd03b03e394af9e6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/5e90b50a5bdf9372fd03b03e394af9e6.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
Bam! Love it. I did it by filling up a small bucket with warm water. Got the shirt wet, this is an important part, it helps the distribution of your "dye" to spread evenly. Otherwise the fabric is bone dry and sucks up all the liquid, too fast. I let the top half of the shirt hang over the edge, into the sink, and left the bottom submerged. I wanted mine super white so I left it in over night. About 9 hrs.<br />
I couldnt wait to try it on and take pics.. so here we are, shirt and I. Me fresh out of the shower... signature bun and all...<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/ea7f815c5a32592fc1f40f0aa7ed9a02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/ea7f815c5a32592fc1f40f0aa7ed9a02.jpg" width="452" /></a></div>
Btw. As you can tell, I am taking this picture in the mirror, so dont mind the dirty baby finger print smudges covering my face. How those scoundrels reached that high is beyond me.<br />
<br />
Here is a close up. I love how it bled up the collar.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/5bec1c4553bcdbd653f818621c246733-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/5bec1c4553bcdbd653f818621c246733-1.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
And then as an added bonus.. I got ready for the day, and took some more pictures.. Hooray for mini photo shoots.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/shirt2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/shirt2.jpg" width="330" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/shirt1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/shirt1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
Don't mind me, just takin pics at 6 o clock at night... Next time it will be outside, I just couldnt wait to post!<br />
Oh and I found a fabulous tutorial on how to curl your hair to make it lovely and wavy... Over at <a href="http://www.caraloren.com/" target="_blank">CaraLoren</a>. <br />
fun blog, beautiful girl, cute baby. Her blog is def one to check out. And mini side note, I went to High School with her Hus. Small world.<br />
Once I finished my hair I took about a million photos, its not easy to get a good one, by yourself, in the bathroom. I did have my 4 year old, try to take some for me, I even had him stand on the bed so we were the same height. Still a fail. Sooo, these are the few I chose, and I am going to apologize in advance, for not being sorry that half of them are the duck face.. Sorry not sorry, boys..<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/hair1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/hair1.jpg" width="508" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/hair2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/hair2.jpg" width="398" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/hair3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="608" src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/hair3.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/hair7.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/hair7.jpg" width="266" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/hair4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/hair4.jpg" width="312" /> </a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Here I am , thinking, "if only I had a better camera." Which reminds me, any camera companies, want to give me one to do a review on?? </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/hair6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="584" src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/hair6.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/hair5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/hair5.jpg" width="358" /></a></div>
Oh and I made a healthy fruit smoothie with almond milk, for me and the babes. It was nast. I think it was the kiwi that killed it. Looked good though.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/75fe0311f7fcee1257e800ef75f797b9.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/75fe0311f7fcee1257e800ef75f797b9.jpg" width="476" /></a></div>
Last but not least, we took our kids to the Del Mar Racetrack, where you drive on the track and look at lights.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://us.123rf.com/400wm/400/400/boyenigma/boyenigma1012/boyenigma101200129/8510962-christmas-holiday-of-lights-at-del-mar-san-diego-fairgrounds-december-2010.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="214" src="http://us.123rf.com/400wm/400/400/boyenigma/boyenigma1012/boyenigma101200129/8510962-christmas-holiday-of-lights-at-del-mar-san-diego-fairgrounds-december-2010.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
The kids loved it, and we did too, the first two times, the third time around we all were about crying... Fun night. Now, I have to go decorate for my little ones bday.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/IMG_0936.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/IMG_0936.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
He will be 4 tomorrow. 12.12.12.... And I want him to wake up to a lovely decorated house.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

Thanks KP. (mini shout out)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Here is where we left off..</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
My Dearest Darlings,<br />
I am sure that you have noticed my absence
and have wondered about my whereabouts. I stopped blogging because,
well, My Mom started <b>religiously</b> following my blog.. The good news is,
I'm back! Just kidding, (mom) I have been visiting the fam during the
month of November and The Hus has been in Asia for work. My family lives
in Utah. I was there for about 3 weeks. I dont think I realized how
small of a town it was until going back this time. Its seriously like
something you might imagine would be a back drop for a movie. Here is
what my trip consisted of, wrapped up in pictures, of course.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/photo2-Copy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="476" src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/photo2-Copy.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
Driving down streets like this. This is main street people. Beautiful.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/photo1-Copy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/photo1-Copy.jpg" width="478" /></a></div>
Homes like this exist on Main Street. Please excuse the crookedness. We were driving and trying to not alarm the owner, who was on the right. I cropped him out.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/photo5-Copy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/photo5-Copy.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
The Government building.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/photo3-Copy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="478" src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/photo3-Copy.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
We ate at places like this. That looked this on the inside.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/photo6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/photo6.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
In this building, is a clothing boutique, a cafe, and a photo framing shop, I believe. Also, please note, that this "shopping center" is smack dab in the middle of a neighborhood.<br />
Cup of soup? Coming right up.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/photo.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="616" src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/photo.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
Drove past the cemetery, daily, because you know, its right in the middle of main street. No big deal. Btw. I have NO idea where my cemetery is out here in San Diego.<br /><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/photo13.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/photo13.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
We went to church with cousins, and gave it a thumbs up.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/photo9.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="476" src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/photo9.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Went to the local trampoline park about 3 times. WE loved it. If you go to one of these places, pee before and wear a belt. Dont say I didnt warn you.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/photo10-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="476" src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/photo10-1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/photo12.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/photo12.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
Took lots of self portraits... The Hus was gone for two whole weeks. I was bored sometimes, ok..<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/photo14.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/photo14.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
Tried to entertain early morning babes with the iPad. Worked, about 75% of the time. Which means, about 4 minutes.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/photo15.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/photo15.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
Killed it with some black friday shopping. 3 pairs per babe. I love me some colored pants for these cats. Thank you H&M.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/photo4-Copy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/photo4-Copy.jpg" width="478" /></a></div>
Begged to play in the snow every. day.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/photo19.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/photo19.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
Welcomed home and unshaven Hus. Obligatory proof portraits were due. The insta needed proof he was home...<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/photo8.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/photo8.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
Took pics with our favorite toys and then added pirate eye patches to an accidental pirate face... Kinda perf right?<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/photo7.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/photo7.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
Got kinda stoked when I realized I was raising the next Justin Beiber, when my kid BEGGED and CRIED hysterically for these. I bought them, really, how could I not? Let the money start flowin kid. Lets get this guy on the disney channel shall we?<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/photo18.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/photo18.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/photo16.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/photo16.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/photo17.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/photo17.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
Last but not least, we wrapped it up with some family photos. After almost everyone cried, seriously, we got a few good ones! Thanks Mom.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/photo11.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/photo11.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
Then we hit the road. Back to California and a 20 hr trip. Which went quite well, if you consider, the mini barfing, and me barfing and the older one having to pee in a McD's cup, well. Take my advice and NEVER leave the Sunday after Thanksgiving. We moved about 45 miles in 2.5 hours, pretty much the whole way. Yay for people visiting their families!<br />
<br />
And there you have it folks!<br />
I'm back!<br />

I am not lost or missing. Although, it may seem like it. I was out of town for a while, and since getting back I have tried to blog, but it seems as though Google is making it difficult for me to add images. I am being requested to pay about $25 a year to post images to my blog. I'll be honest, I havent blogged lately because I have not decided if thats something I want to do or not. I love blogging but its not my career or making me any real money. I can only blog as much as its worth to me. So, until I figure out what Im going to do, as far the blog goes.You can follow me on Instagram, linked over there at the side. Or you can look me up, JANEANSOCAL. Besides, you only really want to see pics anyway right? Right.<br />

So I went out to Target got myself a plain circo hoodie for $8. I chose dark blue for the hoodie, and went over to JoAnns for some turquoise felt. The felt was 25 cents a sheet and I bought 2 sheets which was plenty.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-MlNSnC6NGyU/UImc0hpuDSI/AAAAAAAAD48/SUdS9ZVNllw/s1600/dino+13.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="478" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-MlNSnC6NGyU/UImc0hpuDSI/AAAAAAAAD48/SUdS9ZVNllw/s640/dino+13.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
So this costume cost me $8.50 and turned out fantastically cute. I couldnt be happier. Here's how I did it. Folded the felt sheets in half and cut out triangle pieces in varying sizes.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-XnzHnL7rvv0/UImdMVhrkOI/AAAAAAAAD5E/JN0bKwjKG9U/s1600/dino+11.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="478" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-XnzHnL7rvv0/UImdMVhrkOI/AAAAAAAAD5E/JN0bKwjKG9U/s640/dino+11.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I chose bigger to smaller. Then folded the sweater in half and layed out my pattern, so I knew where to pin the traingles (diamonds.)<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-T7ZdDXhKGPc/UImdeZsLzYI/AAAAAAAAD5M/Bt49YYFtEsU/s1600/dino+9.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-T7ZdDXhKGPc/UImdeZsLzYI/AAAAAAAAD5M/Bt49YYFtEsU/s640/dino+9.jpg" width="478" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Then I pinned down the triangles, and just sewed them down, open, in the middle of the sweater on one side of the seam.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-PTv9NPNZfe8/UImdzD_EiXI/AAAAAAAAD5U/xWwNP2u2g-E/s1600/dino+12.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="478" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-PTv9NPNZfe8/UImdzD_EiXI/AAAAAAAAD5U/xWwNP2u2g-E/s640/dino+12.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Make sure that you sew all of your pieces on the same side of the seam, I didnt and one had kept falling over so I had to hand sew it down. So, learn from my mistake.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-rX10ZODSYo4/UImeGwLebQI/AAAAAAAAD5c/1KD9ecpFMtI/s1600/dino+10.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-rX10ZODSYo4/UImeGwLebQI/AAAAAAAAD5c/1KD9ecpFMtI/s640/dino+10.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Then I folded the triangles and sewed the pieces shut.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-2pteJY_RdV4/UImeTz_QJMI/AAAAAAAAD5k/ETMdD19Lszk/s1600/dino+8.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="478" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-2pteJY_RdV4/UImeTz_QJMI/AAAAAAAAD5k/ETMdD19Lszk/s640/dino+8.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Voila! Then have a pant-less photoshoot outside because its 80 degrees a week before Halloween. Ridiculous, but super cute!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-7zQfwxy7QjM/UImeySB4YzI/AAAAAAAAD50/wMG7KKybItQ/s1600/dino+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-7zQfwxy7QjM/UImeySB4YzI/AAAAAAAAD50/wMG7KKybItQ/s640/dino+2.jpg" width="339" /></a></div>

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
This was really easy, and took me maybe an hour from start to finish. Perfect for a last minute costume!!! But it was really simple and not complicated at all. A beginning sewer could definitely do this. Let me know if you have any questions!!<br />

I still love doing that, but recently I have started drawing images in Photoshop and then using iron on vinyl! Hello! Genius! WHY have I NOT done this BEFORE???? Way easier! And I love the way it turns out, and anyone, I mean anyone, can do it. Just open photoshop and draw your image, or I imagine you could scan in an image your child has drawn.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-1x9Q6V_jQn4/UIeTtc7EvrI/AAAAAAAADzE/5uzgXgGuL84/s1600/dragon.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="603" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-1x9Q6V_jQn4/UIeTtc7EvrI/AAAAAAAADzE/5uzgXgGuL84/s640/dragon.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Which would be super awesome and they would looove it! Next save the image as a jpeg, open it in your silhouette program. Then flip the image horizontally, it has to be backwards when it cuts out but then when you place it,. its forwards, and the right way. Make sense? And then use the TRACE feature, its in the top right. I circled it here. Select you image by drawing a square around it, kinda like cropping. It will choose the lines of your images that will be cut out. When you are drawing, try to make all your lines connect so that you will only have to peel out one image, and not a ton of little ones. Refer to my image to see what I mean. There are no separate images, the fire and the hand are both attached to the main dragon image.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-VcEn9IoE30U/UIeT3CB5YZI/AAAAAAAADzM/3kORAr3aNBk/s1600/Capture+drg.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="324" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-VcEn9IoE30U/UIeT3CB5YZI/AAAAAAAADzM/3kORAr3aNBk/s640/Capture+drg.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
And then you are ready to cut. Send your image to the silhouette and make sure to select the correct settings. Iron on vinyl is simple, its just like regular vinyl, it peels off the backing. Except you cut ON the vinyl, not the back plastic part.<br />
And you iron it on! I picked up a few shirts from H&M, they are only $5 and honestly I think the quality is far better than Targets $5 shirts. I used black vinyl and white flocked to make matching shirts for the big bro and the mini.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-_2PGBfVKBCg/UIeaQkypyWI/AAAAAAAAD00/a8cKpE3E5do/s1600/black+smooth.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-_2PGBfVKBCg/UIeaQkypyWI/AAAAAAAAD00/a8cKpE3E5do/s640/black+smooth.jpg" width="475" /></a></div>
I really like the black smooth vinyl. I really wanted these images to keep the hand drawn effect, and I think that this accomplishes it best. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-SUTWvsgE_4k/UIeaSzKz3GI/AAAAAAAAD08/ftQ77TGiN1Q/s1600/black+vin.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="569" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-SUTWvsgE_4k/UIeaSzKz3GI/AAAAAAAAD08/ftQ77TGiN1Q/s640/black+vin.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
An example of what the vinyl looks like once the image is peeled off.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-_rFNKz2RxzA/UIeaXH5LrHI/AAAAAAAAD1E/y8F4x5YMCNk/s1600/brother1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-_rFNKz2RxzA/UIeaXH5LrHI/AAAAAAAAD1E/y8F4x5YMCNk/s640/brother1.jpg" width="473" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-hPTNt2Ctw-Y/UIhZ9Q5kyZI/AAAAAAAAD3U/BD2V2IuaAtE/s1600/cbug+1+close.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-hPTNt2Ctw-Y/UIhZ9Q5kyZI/AAAAAAAAD3U/BD2V2IuaAtE/s640/cbug+1+close.jpg" width="528" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Then go crazy with your drawings and iron ons!!<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-DJaUrhsEPAg/UIebG2W9VhI/AAAAAAAAD1M/DmN3Rdooq5w/s1600/crazy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-DJaUrhsEPAg/UIebG2W9VhI/AAAAAAAAD1M/DmN3Rdooq5w/s640/crazy.jpg" width="505" /></a></div>
<br />
The skys the limit!! Cant wait to show the boys they will be so excited! The great thing about this is that you only have to draw the image once and then store it on your computer and you can use it over and over!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-pGcUThxU7hE/UIhXWGPEquI/AAAAAAAAD20/8ffhddVONXw/s1600/cbug+1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-pGcUThxU7hE/UIhXWGPEquI/AAAAAAAAD20/8ffhddVONXw/s640/cbug+1.jpg" width="476" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

And Ps going to The Voice was fantastic! I am sworn to secrecy so I cant say anything about it, except if you get the chance, then go! It was so much fun and I really enjoyed all 15hrs of our day, only 5.5 of which were taping. Maybe you will see me on tv next spring?? I will let you know...<br />

I will be spending the day with these folks, hopefully tomorrow, as I attend a taping of one of my fav shows. The Voice!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://encrypted-tbn3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTDNhZC3XK8QTOevfn_yZV4sdeT20FXAzSYEHheki9JNnTlwgYK" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="295" src="https://encrypted-tbn3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTDNhZC3XK8QTOevfn_yZV4sdeT20FXAzSYEHheki9JNnTlwgYK" width="400" /></a></div>
Oh and a few of my girlfriends, of course. <br />
But in the meantime as you stew with jealousy, let me put your anger at ease and let you in on a little secret. Buying a bathing suit online isnt the horror that its cracked up to be. Of course you would think, WHO would buy a bathing suit online? I barely like trying them on at the store and have to try on about 20 different tops and bottoms to find something thats not only flattering, but also fits. UGH. Its a nightmare for sure. But I did it! I bought a swim suit online just last week. Right now, <a href="http://downeastbasics.com/swim.aspx" target="_blank">DownEast Basics</a> is having a HUGE sale on their suits. Tops are $15 and bottoms $5. Now you do have to pay about $7 for shipping and sales tax. But it is SOOO worth it. This is the one I bought.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.barreestation.com/images/products/modbe%20mermaid%20top--bblus.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://www.barreestation.com/images/products/modbe%20mermaid%20top--bblus.jpg" width="253" /> </a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
And I bought the matching bottoms too. And I LOOOVE it. It fits perfectly!!At first I was super hesitant but really thought it was a great deal and needed a new tankini. This one looked super cute, so I just followed the size guide. I took my measurements which is CRITICAL, when you are trying to follow the chart, and low and behold, their chart was SPOT on. Kudos to you DownEast. Kudos. I was so happy, I was thrilled. I really didnt think it would actually be the right sizes from the chart, but it totally was and it makes me for <i>sure </i>more inclined to buy more things from them in the future online, not just swimwear, but they also have really cute tops, skirts and dresses and all are pretty modest which is great. I have bought from them in the past, because they usually have awesome deals on a lot of stuff. So, when they do I will keep you posted. Here are a few swimsuits that I also think are cute. Hurry up though because they are flying off the shelves, with these deals, are you surprised?</div>

Now its late and I need to hit the hay for The Voice! Im so stoked! I will keep you guys posted!<br />

It was so easy and has been so popular among readers that I have decided that this year, I will be a Peacock and upgrade my <a href="http://www.howikeepsane.com/2011/10/witch-costume-adult-tutu-tutorial.html" target="_blank">witch tutu</a> by adding more tulle in different colors.<br />

<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-whNXHLOrgug/UHyXqYo8hsI/AAAAAAAADxQ/69hxj1fgQhU/s1600/peacock+7.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-whNXHLOrgug/UHyXqYo8hsI/AAAAAAAADxQ/69hxj1fgQhU/s400/peacock+7.jpg" height="400" width="367" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ulLDfsJoqnY/UHyXtIVTe4I/AAAAAAAADxc/Yw5qpJv8_oo/s1600/peacock+9.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ulLDfsJoqnY/UHyXtIVTe4I/AAAAAAAADxc/Yw5qpJv8_oo/s400/peacock+9.jpg" height="400" width="368" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I added 4 yrds of blue, 3 of green, and 2 of the plum. I chose these colors based off of a Peacock feather. I just went to the flower section of Joanns and held it up to the tulle colors.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-zQxjBs_cVQ4/T0UoZku9jTI/AAAAAAAAA2s/4Ci7ybGbrRI/s1600/peacock-feather.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-zQxjBs_cVQ4/T0UoZku9jTI/AAAAAAAAA2s/4Ci7ybGbrRI/s400/peacock-feather.jpg" height="265" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
They didnt have all the exact colors I wanted, but paired with the 4 yrds of black and 4yrds of purple that were already on the tutu I think it turned out great! Tulle is about $1.49/yd and you can buy all the supplies you need at Joanns, including the elastic for the waistband.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-HQOD5ZJJkRI/UHyR1PZvM1I/AAAAAAAADvg/e8DEBsifzv4/s1600/peacock+5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-HQOD5ZJJkRI/UHyR1PZvM1I/AAAAAAAADvg/e8DEBsifzv4/s640/peacock+5.jpg" height="640" width="497" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-_rUGrdVzTic/UHyRvoQKMVI/AAAAAAAADvI/mdVSLyxV8dg/s1600/peacock+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-_rUGrdVzTic/UHyRvoQKMVI/AAAAAAAADvI/mdVSLyxV8dg/s640/peacock+2.jpg" height="514" width="640" /></a></div>
I made the back longer, trying to emulate a peacock tail. The blue is
the longest and green on top of that. The blue is about 27inches long
(54 inches, folded in half) and the green, a few inches shorter. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-TIY2DCIMQu0/UHyRrANeDbI/AAAAAAAADvA/Y5JuIySgq0w/s1600/peacock+1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-TIY2DCIMQu0/UHyRrANeDbI/AAAAAAAADvA/Y5JuIySgq0w/s640/peacock+1.jpg" height="640" width="478" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-bCCRt48YDJw/UHyRxzVzvOI/AAAAAAAADvQ/arfKT5ldh8w/s1600/peacock+3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-bCCRt48YDJw/UHyRxzVzvOI/AAAAAAAADvQ/arfKT5ldh8w/s640/peacock+3.jpg" height="640" width="308" /></a></div>
I will be adding a few feathers to the back and am wearing blue tights and a blue shirt with sparkly sequin shoulders. I am also adding my light brown leather flats that I got on sale from <a href="http://www.howikeepsane.com/2012/10/weekend-wardrobe-urban-outfitters-sale.html" target="_blank">Urban Outfitters</a>, to give it a bird foot look. I am also going to be wearing my <a href="http://www.howikeepsane.com/2012/10/easy-diy-lace-mask-for-halloween-costume.html" target="_blank">lace mask </a>I made. Im not quite sure how Im going to do my hair yet, but I think it will be up and I will probably make some fancy feather clip or something! I will keep you posted!<br />

I am pleased to announce and thrilled to share that the wonderful people over at <a href="http://banasbowsandbands.com/products-page/all-bows/leopard-lux-bow/" target="_blank">Banas Bows and Bands</a> are going to be giving away a headband. The headbands over at Bana's Bows and Bands are super adorable and here's what makes them unique. Unlike most headbands that your child grows out of, Bana's doesn't. Here is an excerpt from the designer herself;<br />
<br />
<div style="color: #45818e;">
<i>"The thing that frustrated me the most about buying her bows–and
ultimately led me to start this brand–was how many you have to buy and
that you have to buy the same bow over and over as they get older. So I
thought to myself, what if you could change out the bows and bands.</i></div>
<div style="color: #45818e;">
<i>With that thought I began creating the ultimate bow experience. No
more grosgrain bands paired with tacky lace headbands or elastic that
doesn’t quite match. Now we have grosgrain bows AND headbands. Each
band has a tasteful slot for a clip-on bow. It’s so hidden you can wear
the headband by itself as well. Then, as your child grows hair you can
use that collection of bows you’ve acquired to adore your beautiful
girl’s head."</i></div>
<div style="color: #45818e;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://banasbowsandbands.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/123tile_21.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://banasbowsandbands.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/123tile_21.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="color: #45818e;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #45818e;">
<i>As Jessica Simpson said on Fashion Star, “That’s what we call a Two-fer, and we like those.”</i></div>
<div style="color: #45818e;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: black;">
Luck you guys! Bana's are awesome and adorable and who doesnt love function paired with fashion?</div>
<div style="color: black;">
I have personally selected one of my favs for one of YOU to win. The Leopard Lux Bow. I think it is PERFECT for Fall and all the family photo ops that come along with the holidays. But lets get real, animal print is not seasonal. Its everyday, every season, wear. That's what makes this choice so perfect.</div>

Lucky for us Urban Outfitters was having %50 OFF all SALE items. Needless to say I left with far more than I came for. I walked away with 6 shirts, a belt and a pair of shoes, all for $50. AMAZING. Two of the shirts were $2.50 each and one of the shirts I bought two of, in different colors, because, really, it was SUCH a good deal. Everything I bought was $10 or under! Hello. Steal City. Here is one of the shirts I bought, I also bought this one in ivory. I paired it with skinny jeans and flats I also got at Urban. For $10. Which are genuine leather btw. Honestly I havent been back, for fear of buying everything.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I love the slit going up the back.Just throw a tank under and I am good to go. But if you're really a hot mama and have tons of self esteem you could always opt for sans tank. Love it either way. Although, I will be wearing the tank, unless I'm at the beach or something.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

Not too shabby for a $40 outfit, including the tank. So, go check out your local Urban and see if they have steals as well. Girls Night anyone?? I checked the website, it said nothing about %50 Off Sale items, but good deals, nonetheless. Oh and get ready for another giveaway!!! Perfect for Fall family photos. Here is a sneak peek!<br />

Dare I say a batty idea? I dare. So I traveled down to the Dollar Tree and picked up a black plastic tablecloth. I almost bought 2 just for good measure but glad I decided against it. I wouldn't have used it. I def had enough material.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-aiCewtjfrik/UG-B-Weh2aI/AAAAAAAADgM/TTQC3aBx5aM/s640/blogger-image-1000917301.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-aiCewtjfrik/UG-B-Weh2aI/AAAAAAAADgM/TTQC3aBx5aM/s400/blogger-image-1000917301.jpg" width="297" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
I decided to fold the table cloth the way you do when you make a people chain. It's the same folding <a href="http://www.origami-instructions.com/origami-fan.html" target="_blank">method for making a paper fan</a>. I chose this way because most garlands want you to cut out like 100 bats. This way I only have to cut one! No brainer! If you don't know how to do that, or what I mean. Please ask and I'll clarify. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-X_G5r-uceCs/UG-Cjz9s5mI/AAAAAAAADhM/g4AZ0M0jVZk/s640/blogger-image-2086570831.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-X_G5r-uceCs/UG-Cjz9s5mI/AAAAAAAADhM/g4AZ0M0jVZk/s400/blogger-image-2086570831.jpg" width="298" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-jlNgblbEhkc/UG-CkW48NzI/AAAAAAAADhU/OCHmBK-0cQ0/s640/blogger-image--675112219.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="298" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-jlNgblbEhkc/UG-CkW48NzI/AAAAAAAADhU/OCHmBK-0cQ0/s400/blogger-image--675112219.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Next I needed a template. I took a piece of packaging cardboard that came with the giant spider I just bought. It was the right stiffness, but bonus, it had a simple image of a bat on it. I just used that image as a reference for my own and drew one on the back.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-gGlX3D01FSU/UG-ClAqcfhI/AAAAAAAADhc/nIrfqIz3cTc/s640/blogger-image-1009935413.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-gGlX3D01FSU/UG-ClAqcfhI/AAAAAAAADhc/nIrfqIz3cTc/s400/blogger-image-1009935413.jpg" width="298" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-My0nHwtcpT8/UG-CnJG07JI/AAAAAAAADh0/k-QeAJSwh7I/s640/blogger-image-429721857.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-My0nHwtcpT8/UG-CnJG07JI/AAAAAAAADh0/k-QeAJSwh7I/s400/blogger-image-429721857.jpg" width="298" /></a></div>
<br />
Then I cut the bat out and used it as a template and placed it on top of my folded tablecloth. I cut out everywhere except on the folds. Don't cut the bat out all the way. He needs to be able to attach to the next bat, and they will be attached at the folds. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
In some places the bat might be attached to another spot like on the wing, below. This is just because there are soo many layers to cut throughout and you may not cut through every one. If this is the case, then just snip where you need to. <br />
<br />

<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Then I pulled it open. Voila. ( cue angelic chorus) This was perfect, and with just one cut we had over 30 ft of garland. Then hang away. I chose over windows and in doorways. <br />

<div xmlns='http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml'>
<p>This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of <a rel='nofollow' href='http://app.socialspark.com/disclosure_clicks?oid=8665257'>No nonsense</a> for <a rel='nofollow' href='http://izea.in/r1JSn'>SocialSpark</a>. All opinions are 100% mine.</p>
<p> I love blogging! And I love it even more when I get awesome stuff sent to me to review! I was stoked when the good people over at <a rel='nofollow' href='http://app.socialspark.com/clicks?lid=23825&oid=8665257'>No nonsense tights and leggings</a> sent me over a pretty package of beautiful tights and leggings!</p>
<p style='text-align: center;'> <img style='width: 500px; height: 500px;' src='http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/non.jpg' alt=''/></p>
<p> If you know me, then you know that I LOVE fashion and I LOVE tights and leggings! What a perfect fit this review was for me! I was sent some beautiful light pink, or nude colored for us fair skinned folk, tights and some awesome purple corduroy leggings! My two favs, corduroy and leggings. I am a sucker for some corduroy, that is for sure. Before I tell you about the millions of items of clothing I pulled for my closet to style these items with and what I chose, I want to tell you a little bit about No nonsense. These are some of the most affordable, accesible and fashionable tights and leggings out there. Im pretty sure most of the tights and leggings I already own are No nonsense. You can practically find them everywhere. It is a fabulous brand. They have also recently teamed up Jill Martin who is going to be the face of the brand. They couldnt have picked a more fashionable or worthy candidate. She is a real working woman just doing her thing and being fashionable. You can see more of her here, with <a rel='nofollow' href='http://app.socialspark.com/clicks?lid=23827&oid=8665257'>No nonsense on Facebook</a>.</p>
<p> I loved these tights and leggings. Literally my bed is piled high with outfits I pulled, the possiblities are endless, but lucky for you, the photos are not. ;)</p>
<p> I paired the tights with a pleated and lace trimmed skirt, some bootie pumps and a peachy pink shirt. Inspired by a ballerina look, I pulled my hair into a bun and thought it looked lovely, girly, and classic. Loved this outfit. The tights were the perfect thing for this outfit. Elegant and sweet.</p>
<p> <img style='width: 500px; height: 616px;' src='http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/nonsense1.jpg' alt=''/></p>
<p> <img style='width: 495px; height: 1023px;' src='http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/nonsense6.jpg' alt=''/></p>
<p> </p>
<p> <img style='width: 497px; height: 1024px;' src='http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/nonsense5.jpg' alt=''/></p>
<p> The leggings, which are also super rad and I was so happy to receive, were purple. I decided to pair them some thigh-high boots and a striped slouchy, comfy cardigan and I have got myself the perfect fall outfit! I love these things! Man, they are soft!</p>
<p> <img style='width: 500px; height: 804px;' src='http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/nonsense4.jpg' alt=''/></p>
<p> I wanted to show you the versatility of these things, so I also paired them with some heels, because who doesnt love heels and leggings? Really.</p>
<p> <img style='width: 500px; height: 667px;' src='http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/nonsense3.jpg' alt=''/></p>
<p> <img style='width: 500px; height: 667px;' src='http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g113/janeansocal/nonsense2.jpg' alt=''/></p>
<p> I really and super excited to wear these things ALL winter long. However long that ends up being here in Southern California. In between the bikini months, I will be wearing my tights and leggings. Watch for them.</p>

But I am super excited about my costume and think it will be pretty cool. I have decided to wear a mask with it. But not your normal everyday run of the mill mask. I wanted a super elegant mask, very feminine, and super classy. I really love the look of the lace masks I have been seeing online. Here is where I drew my inspiration from.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.laurela.com/products_img/2055314068Lise-Charmel-Soir-de-Venise-mask-medium.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://www.laurela.com/products_img/2055314068Lise-Charmel-Soir-de-Venise-mask-medium.jpg" width="348" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.kellecompany.com/images/catalog/Kelle-2011/9186L.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="292" src="http://www.kellecompany.com/images/catalog/Kelle-2011/9186L.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.apollinas.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/Gisele+Bundchen+Gisele+Bundchen+Attending+rYRWcRJKTmol.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://www.apollinas.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/Gisele+Bundchen+Gisele+Bundchen+Attending+rYRWcRJKTmol.jpg" width="433" /></a></div>
Now, these masks can cost you a pretty penny, if you want to buy one, but, why not MAKE our own. For <i>cheap</i>?<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-na2z97jKXaQ/UGyxgt7ZbwI/AAAAAAAADbY/KIbIsVy20FA/s1600/lace+mask.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="476" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-na2z97jKXaQ/UGyxgt7ZbwI/AAAAAAAADbY/KIbIsVy20FA/s640/lace+mask.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I started with some greenish lace that I already had, but lace is readily available at all fabric stores and is pretty cheap too, depending on how intricate it is, but simple lace, cheap. I picked up a cheap plastic mask from Joanns for $2 for the shape and eye placement. I seriously did consider though, skipping the plastic mask and making a paper mache mold from my own face. Then I realized how ridiculous that was and decided to eat the $2. Worth it! And last but not least, Fabric Stiffener. This was the fabric stiffener I bought, Stiffy. Worked great, although it did cost $7 and the bottle is huge, way more than I needed for this project and I'm pretty sure you can buy small bottles at most fabric stores for like $2. Alas, this was all Joanns had so I bought it.<br />
I placed a square of lace over the mask to see how much I needed, cut it out and then cut the shape the way I wanted the mask to look, while laying it over the plastic mask. So that I knew where to cut. This was fairly easy. Once I had the shape I wanted and the eye holes cut out, I poured about two capfuls of Stiffy on a ceramic plate, dipped my lace in it and squeezed off the extra. Then I draped it on the mask while it dried so it would take its shape. I let mine dry on a paper plate, just so none dripped off onto the counter. Although, even if it had, it would have been easy to clean since Stiffy is waterbased.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-NZvgiQk3lT8/UGyzZFfbkYI/AAAAAAAADbg/idmpt6zsNjA/s1600/lace+mask+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="478" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-NZvgiQk3lT8/UGyzZFfbkYI/AAAAAAAADbg/idmpt6zsNjA/s640/lace+mask+2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
As soon as it was dry, which took about 2 hours, I had my mask.Oh and it dries clear. I was worried it might not. but it totally did.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ni1WzJ1frXE/UGy2Umva8wI/AAAAAAAADcQ/MZ0-v7QhoT4/s1600/lace+mask+3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="478" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ni1WzJ1frXE/UGy2Umva8wI/AAAAAAAADcQ/MZ0-v7QhoT4/s640/lace+mask+3.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
With a little clear stretch elastic for the band, it will be complete! Im really stoked about it and think it turned out great! You could also just use the elastic band that came with the plastic mask, which would be easier, but hey.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
In other news, I can't stop buying Legos for my child who loves them with all his heart, but really isnt old enough for them yet. We just buy the little things, like this helicopter for example. It took us about 10 minutes to assemble it together and it took him about two minutes to decide he wanted the cock pit open and took the whole thing apart. Ugh. Honestly, if I see pieces on the floor, I just throw them away... Just lookin out for the baby. Worst mom ever?<br />

Oh, and I had to treat myself to some Halloween Oreos. I love Oreos, never buy them though, but it is Halloween. And really, who can resist those cute little super festive black and orange cookies? Not me. They would look great with<a href="http://www.howikeepsane.com/2011/09/frankenstein-halloween-treat.html" target="_blank"> this project</a>!<br />
