DIY Ring Charm Tutorial

For this project I chose to use 20 gauge gold colored jewelry wire. I wrapped which finger I wanted to wear the ring on so I could get the size right. Then I wrapped some wire in place to secure the size.

Hump Day Inspiration

Considering that most of us had Monday off, I figured Thursday was this week's hump day. To help us get over the hump, I thought I would add some of my fav images I have collected throughout the years, you know, before Pinterest. I used to find images I like and copy and save over and over and over into tons of folders. Pinterest is way easier. If you havent tried it yet, you should.

Summer Mantel Ideas

Now that the holidays are over for a little while, I was thinking that I might as well be festive with my mantel and decorate for summer, or at least until I change my mind. I had some shells and coral from our Bahama trip and bought a few more at... the Dollar Tree. That's right, one dollar for a bunch. Fabulous. I really wanted some glass jars though for my display.

Anthro Inspired Vintage Ruffle Lace Sweater

So, this project cost me a total of $2, and unfortunately just as many hours (so far.) I had a plain white hand me down cardigan from a friend and found a bag of vintage lace at the thrift store. The lace was different sizes and colors and I used what I had to make a pattern that matched up on both sides.

DIY Feather Earrings

So I have been wanting to jump on the
feather earring bandwagon for a while now,
and I thought to myself, where better to look than Etsy?
Well, little did I know that feather earrings on Etsy
were going to cost me a pretty little bundle.
Around 30 bones, so I got to thinking,
why not MAKE some?
