Busy Busy Bees & Hobbies

My Dears,
This whole buying a house or whatever has really been quite the life sucker out of me-er. As if I had any life left in me to suck out. You know, once the babes have done their duties of running me ragged and pushing me to the brink of insanity... daily. But, I guess I did have something left in me for the home-ing process to leach on to. I know, I know, at least I have something to buy and actually, I am lucky to have the stress of owning something in times like ours. With the economy not being the greatest it has ever been. So, I guess I'm not really asking for sympathy, just understanding and forgiveness whilst the blog gets dropped to bottom of the totem pole. On the bright side, I am looking super forward to decorating said property. Granite and I will hopefully have a date quite soon. In the mean and in between time, we are keeping ourselves preoccupied with going to the beach,

eating sand and things that are not naturally in the sand and crying when our mother takes it out of our mouths.

Using moms app she downloaded for the cousins that is called "pretty make up" and making all the girls be dark skinned with blue lips. I think we may have found a preference of this little guy's. And it looks nothing like his mother. I guess I better invest in spray tan machine and some blue lipstick so my children will love me.

Using the new camera. Is it just me, or is the ipad pretty much the new photo booth in the mall?
I mean, honestly. I am positive I have tons of strips of these little photo booth pics from back in the day. When you could get 4 pics for a dollar and every friend bought a strip and the strip you paid for, you got to be in the front.. Otherwise you were a pair of eyes in the back.. if you were lucky.

And last but not least, I am sharing one of my fav healthy eats. Roasted veggies. A few seasonings, and some olive oil. Sprinkle a little salt and set the oven to 425 for about 30-40 min and presto. Perf veggies. Here I roasted eggplant, broccoli, bell peppers, and asparagus. Served with grilled chicken. Delish. Now, eggplant is tricky. It can be wonderful or bitter. So be sure to sweat out the bitterness and salt it first. Google it if you have to, or else it is a waste of some great eggplant.

Trust me, I know.
Well, thanks for the patience as we transition and don't forget to enter the travel package giveaway. Contest end Sunday, May 13th.
