Holy Hannah! This was amazing and by far exceeded my expectations. I thought it might be kinda good, but it was fantastic! The bread was warm and the brie buttery, the raspberry flavor was just sweet enough with a touch of tartness. It all came together with the honey though. The honey is a must and I couldnt get enough. I imagine it would be even more delicious with raw organic honey. Raw organic honey is super delicious! You can get it at most health food stores and sometimes local farmers markets. It is a little more expensive than what you would expect for honey, but its worth it!!
Also, Im sure most other berries and some fruits would be a great match for this as well.
Hope you try it! Got a favorite cheese recipe? Id love to hear it!

Caprese salad. Stack sliced tomatoes, sliced soft mozzarella, and lots of basil, then drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper.
ReplyDeleteAnything with soft mozzarella. The other day I at a whole ball of it like an apple. Not embarrassed at all.

One of my favorite recipes with brie is a brie burger. So good! Here's the recipe from my blog: http://jeffandgenna.blogspot.com/2011/07/brie-burger.html
