Colorful Gallery Wall

I love a good gallery wall. There's just something about the idea of a big collection of pictures and art that is so moving. A while back I purchased a bunch of plain frames from the dollar store and inherited a few also. They pretty much all matched, which is great if your going for that look. I am trying to go for a more Anthropologie inspired eclectic look. In the mean time while I am scouring thrift stores and garage sales for the perfect frames, I thought I would paint some of the ones I have. I'm not finished yet, but here's what it's looking like so far.

 

 

I'm loving it so far, but I will probably hate it in about 6 months...

Also, we found a cat. I just couldn't resist when he begged I paint him as a cat, with my fingers.
