Bleach Pen Onesies with Fabric Paint

Lately I have been seeing a lot
of this picture circulating Pinterest.
Its from one of my previous projects.
Anyway, since then I have made some
more onesies and just wanted to

show what a little fabric
paint and buttons can do
with the bleach.
Just outlining the bleach with black
fabric paint does wonders.
Honestly, you don't have to be
an artist to make them either.
Trust me, I'm not.
Even my sister asked:

"Wow, Janean. Did you make all of those?"
"Yeah, why?"
"Oh, nothing. Some of them are just really good."

Point proven, right?
Thanks sis.

  1. Can you wash them after you've used the bleach pen?

    1. Yes!@Jesskee Sue, Totally. I have washed mine, many, many times. I rinse out the bleach first, by hand, and it doesnt smear or bleach anywhere else either during this process. Because it takes a while for the bleach to start to work, so rinsing it off really thoroughly and quickly doesnt mess it up. I just wash it normally. I wash mine in cold water, just because I try to avoid fading or bleeding the color. But other than that, it washes fine. Did that answer your question?

  5. Do you put anything inside the onesie to keep the bleach from bleeding onto the back while you draw?

    1. Cardboard off of a diaper box, or cereal box is great. I didn't on a few and some bled. Great question. Thanks for asking!!
